Congratulations, Dan!

Since Dan is such a modest person, there is a great chance that he has not had a chance to inform you of his latest accomplishment. Dan has been admitted as a Masters of Science candidate at the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, in the field of Electrical Engineering. Please congratulate him at your earliest convenience.

In completely unrelated news, Jeff will begin taking classes at New York University's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences on May 18.

2009 Spring Friendship Appreciation Weekend

When: 3/27-3/29
Where: Philly (Frank's apt.)

Who: Greg, Dan, Frank, Alex, Rob, Jeff, Matt

It is understood that several people may want to bring guests to F.A.W.. That in mind, we have a form that must be filled out by tentative guests. Please E-Mail Matt with a request for the form. Obviously Frank's room mate does not have to fill out the form, though it was considered. Frank's Girlfriend also does not need to fill out the form due to the grandfather clause stated in article 2, section 8, paragraph 4, lines 2-9. (if you would like to look over this clause please send a request to Matt. turnaround time is 3-6 business years). She also plays the role of "Den mother".

Activity ideas

-Bowling, of course
-Catching a little league game
- Making up an absurd "American custom" that must take place in a ridiculous location and then doing it with Jeff's foreigner all the time being adimate that this is a legitimate custom.

Ex. if you go to _____ cheese steak shop you have to wear your underpants inside out and backwards because it is tradition. we can think of te origin of the custom later.

The forum is open. Gentlemen I leave it to you...

Summer Trip

So these are some establishments that I think we should look into for our weekend. Everybody should let me know what they think, and give some feed back.

It Starts

Great men are true men, the men in whom nature has succeeded. They are not extraordinary -- they are in the true order. It is the other species of men who are not what they ought to be.
Henri Frédéric Amiel (1821-1881)

From here My fellow gentlemen, brothers, and good o'l boys, I leave this to you...
